Laetitia Black Reviews Breach Of My Heart

Last week, I finally kept my promise to you of visiting your  website, and I am so glad that I did. I was so inspired by the  comments that I read and video testimonials that I viewed that I forwarded your website to 12 of my family and friends. Later that evening, I went to the Barnes & Noble to search for both of your books; unfortunately for me, only your first book was still available.

Over the weekend, while T.S. Fay was drizzling on my roof, I delved into your book of poetry. Just when I thought you could not impress me more, I found a new respect for you through your writing. While reading your book, I reflected on the fact that the 3rd Anniversary of  Katrina is upon us and realized that we are still so far from total reconciliation. I enjoyed this book immensely and look forward to reading Straight From My Heart.

    This book is a soulful journey with expressions of truth, love, loss and all that embodies life through the poetry in it.
    It is about allowing our inner voice to form a relationship with our outer voice, so that we can improve our relationships with our loved ones.
    It is also about allowing old wounds to heal by opening our hearts and sharing what we feel with the people who matter the most to us.

    Her entire community had been destroyed and there seemed to be no real assistance in sight or understanding of how or even if the city would be rebuilt.
    After renting one half of a "shot-gun" double house in the "uptown" area of the city, she faced her city by day and her demons by night! It was during that time that some of her most emotional, raw, pure, explicit and graphic poetry which became "Breach of My Heart."
